–The Frostbite Olympics continue Saturday with a pair of events that will happen no matter how warm it is outside. Algona Chamber of Commerce Director Vicki Mallory tells KLGA News that the Frostbite Gameday will be hosted by the Algona Evangelical Free Church in the OB Laing gym.
Frostbite Gameday will run from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM inside the OB Laing gym. Mallory says Saturday evening will feature another fun event at the VFW Hall, which they’re calling “Nacho Average Bingo”.
The nacho bar will be provided by Cinco De Mayo, and it will run from 5:30-6:30 PM with bingo set to start around 6:30 PM. Tickets are $20 and include the nacho bar and one bingo card, but you can also buy extra bingo cards for $5 each.
