Discussion took place late Monday Afternoon in regards to what the city may do with the recently acquired land on what is the former site of the Peck Auction House. The Algona City Council and Parks and Rec Commission discussed what could go out in that area, as City Administrator Jacob Tjaden discussed what will initially need to be for the space.
Tjaden also laid out the current options the council and parks and rec commission have in regards to moving forward with any planning for the project.
The council agreed to have Tjaden reach out to other communities that underwent any work with the team that would be in charge of the discovery phase before they would move forward with discussions.
