–A new Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) training program at Iowa Lakes Community College is up and running at the Emmetsburg campus. Lloyd Throop serves as the Program Coordinator for the CDL program at Iowa Lakes, and he tells KLGA News they have been able to get up and going this spring.
The program covers the Entry-Level Driver’s Training requirements, as Throop says they have the equipment on campus in Emmetsburg to teach students everything they need to know.
Throop says the instruction is both online and in-person, and it doesn’t take that long to become certified.
