Public meetings are scheduled in 23 counties for review of the Summit Carbon Solutions plan to expand its proposed pipeline to more ethanol plants. Radio Iowa’s O. Kay Henderson reports.
The first hearing about expanding Summit’s proposed carbon pipeline is August 26th in Corning, in southwest Iowa’s Adams County. The last of the 23 hearings will be held September 30th in Buena Vista County town of Lakeside.
In our area, meetings will be held at the following times and locations:
–Hancock County: Viaduct Center, 255 U.S. Highway 69, Garner – Sept. 13 12-2 PM.
–Kossuth County: Eagle Center, 401 Smith St., Lakota – Sept. 16 6-8 PM
–Palo Alto County: Iowa Lakes Community College, 3200 College Drive, Emmetsburg – Sept. 17 at 12 PM.
