Donation will Help Law Enforcement be Seen

–Local law enforcement officers will be highly visible to area residents thanks to a recent donation from Oakcrest Funeral Services.

Oakcrest recently presented members of the Kossuth County Sheriff’s Department and the Algona Police Department with a number of high-visibility safety jackets. The jackets will help provide enhanced safety to law enforcement officials who are assisting with incidents during low-visibility situations.

The jackets are a bright neon color, heavy duty and fully insulated and the gift from Oakcrest provides a jacket for each Sheriff’s Deputy and Police Officer.
