–The Kossuth County Board of Supervisors approved a detour agreement with the Iowa Department of Transportation along US Highway 18 east of Algona during their meeting Tuesday. County Engineer Doug Miller outlined the DOT’s plan to the board prior to their approval.
Miller says there will be another detour route the state will use during the work this summer.
Miller says the state will seek bids on the project in May. Officials with the Iowa Department of Transportation say the work should be completed by this fall.
