–A handful of groups opposed to the Summit Carbon Solutions Pipeline project will host an informational meeting Thursday night in Titonka for area landowners and residents. Hilary Ziols is helping to organize the event, and she tells KLGA News they hope that anyone who has concerns about the project will attend.
The meeting is being hosted by the Iowa Chapter of the Sierra Club, the Bold Alliance, and Iowa Easement Team and local landowners impacted by the project. Ziols says that Schmit’s presentation will cover a number of pipeline related topics.
Ziols says there will be time for those in attendance to ask questions once the presentation has concluded.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 6:30 PM this Thursday, May 1st at the Buffalo Creek Community Center in Titonka. For more information, you can go online to www.iaeasement.org.
