–Algona High School held commencement ceremonies on Sunday for the Class of 2025, with 113 Seniors receiving their diploma. Chance Studer served as the class speaker, and he shared some words that moved the late Jim Valvano, a coach and broadcaster who inspired many around the country with his words during a personal battle with cancer.
The Class of 2025 selected “How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard” from Winnie the Pooh as their official motto.
