–A Titonka man was taken into custody late last week on charges of sexual abuse from a pair of alleged incidents over the last three years.
According to the Kossuth County Sheriff’s Office, Deputies conducted a warrant check at a residence in the rural Buffalo Center area around 10:20 PM this past Friday and arrested 20-year-old Ayden Lee Boekelman on a warrant for 2nd Degree Sexual Abuse, a Class B Felony.
A criminal complaint was filed in Kossuth County District Court on February 25th, alleging Boekelman committed sexual abuse against a child in October of 2024 and on another occasion in 2022.
Boekelman was booked into the Kossuth County Jail before posting a cash bond. He is scheduled to have a preliminary court hearing on May 27th.
Court records also show that a no contact order has been issued to prevent Boekelman from having any contact with the alleged victim in the case.
