–The Algona Public Library is kicking off their Summer Reading Program this week as youngsters can “Level Up” at the library while out of school. Children’s Librarian Kristy Allison says parents can get their kids signed up in person or online.
The Summer Reading Program has five different levels for kids aged birth to 18, plus a category for adults with various prizes and events for each age category. Registration can also be filled out in person at the library Monday-Thursday from 9:30AM-7PM, Friday’s from 9:30AM-5PM and on Saturday from 9:30AM-1PM.
