–Severe thunderstorms brought damaging winds and some hail to Kossuth County on Wednesday afternoon, leaving area residents to clean up the mess. Kossuth County Emergency Management Coordinator Charissa Mueller tells KLGA News that she was tracking the cell that made its way through the Fenton area.
The county dispatch center received over a dozen reports of tree damage in Algona alone between 4:30-5 PM Wednesday.
