–Iowa Lakes Community College will host an open house and ribbon cutting ceremony for their newly renovated Veteran’s Center in Spencer Friday morning. Tim Ireland serves as the Career, Veteran, and Military Services Coordinator for Iowa Lakes, and he tells KLGA News that they now have these Veteran’s Centers in Estherville, Emmetsburg, and Spencer.
US Senator Joni Ernst will be in attendance during the event on Friday. Ireland says each of these centers are a relaxing place for their veteran students to come and hang out.
Ireland says the administrative team at Iowa Lakes really got behind this renovation project.
