–Trial dates have been set for an Algona man accused of violating a no contact order multiple times in a matter of days earlier this month.
According to the Kossuth County Sheriff’s Office, Deputies received a request for assistance in the rural Algona area just before 10:30 PM on Tuesday, June 10th. After conducting a brief investigation, Deputies arrested 18-year-old Mason Patrick Leeper on charges of Violation of a No Contact Order and Reckless Driving.
On Friday, June 13th, Deputies responded to a call for assistance in the rural Algona area just after 8 PM, and once again arrested Leeper on a charge of violating a no contact order. Leeper was booked into the Kossuth County Jail before posting bond in each instance.
Online court records show a 3rd charge of violating a no contact order on Saturday, June 14th.
Back in April, Leeper pled guilty to a charge of 3rd Degree Harassment, a case that resulted in the no contact order. He is scheduled to have a non-jury trial in July on 2 of the NCO violations, and another in September.
