–An Estherville attorney has been appointed by Governor Kim Reynolds to serve as a district associate judge in Judicial District 3A, which covers 10 counties across NW Iowa.
The Governor’s office announced the appointment of Jennifer Bennett Finn on Tuesday. Finn is the managing attorney at Pelzer Law Firm in Estherville, having received both her undergraduate and law degrees from Drake University in Des Moines.
Finn will fill the vacancy created by the resignation of the Honorable Ann M. Gales.
Judicial District 3A covers Buena Vista, Cherokee, Dickinson, Emmet, Kossuth, Lyon, O’Brien, Osceola, and Palo Alto counties.
