–Entries are still being accepted for the annual “Portraits of Kossuth” photo contest, hosted by Kossuth County Conservation. Naturalist Billie Willie says they are hoping to display a wide variety of pictures in their booth during the upcoming Kossuth County Fair.
While you may be tempted to submit a photo of your kids enjoying the great outdoors, Willie says that’s really not what they are looking for with the contest.
Willie says to be sure and label your photo, so they know exactly who it belongs to just in case you win.
Once the contest is over, Willie says there are a couple of ways that you can get your photo back.
The deadline to submit a photo for the contest is 4:30 PM on Friday, July 25th at the Nature Center. Call 515-295-2138 with questions.
