An Estherville Man was arrested late last week on valid Arrest Warrant. According to the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office, the charges stem from May of this year in which warrants were issued charging 66 year old Lonny Wayne Laidig with Driving While Suspended, Possession of a Controlled Substance (2nd Offense), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana 2nd Offense), Unlawful Possession of Prescription Drug, and Operating while under the influence (1st Offense) with a failure to appear for that charge which came with a $2,000 cash or surety bond. Following the arrest, Laidig was booked into the Palo Alto County Jail to await initial court appearance.
