——An Algona man was arrested Monday after a call came in about a car veering off the roadway. According to the Kossuth County Sherriff’s Office, a call came in around 7pm about a vehicle leaving the road as they were approaching Call Park Drive. After investigating the incident, those on the scene determined that the driver had attempted to negotiate a curve when he lost control on the right hand side. The 2014 Buick Encore operated by 24 year old Hunter Jordan Ellsworth went through a fence line and multiple cedar trees before coming to a rest. Ellsworth suffered no injuries, however, he was transported to Kossuth County Jail after interfering with police. Ellsworth was charged for this as well as OWI 2nd offense, Driving While Barred, Failure to Maintain Control, and No Insurance.
