–A recent study by the Iowa Hospitals Association shows Kossuth Regional Health Center generated nearly 500 jobs and added almost $31 Million to Kossuth County’s economy in 2024.
The study was compiled from hospital-submitted data to the American Hospital Association’s annual survey. The study found Iowa Hospitals employ nearly 142,000 people and provide over $9.6 Billion in wages.
KRHC added $30.9 Million to Kossuth County’s economy in 2024, which was up from $28.9 Million in 2023.
Hospital expenses across the state accounted for $22.9 Billion of the state’s gross domestic product.
