–A local veteran’s support group will be hosting a fundraiser event Saturday night at the Algona VFW Hall. Chris Zinnel is a spokesperson for the NW Iowa chapter of the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association (CVMA), and he tells KLGA News they have chapters all over the country assisting veterans in multiple ways.
Zinnel says they assist local veterans in multiple ways and partner with other organizations that have similar missions.
Saturday night’s festivities will begin with a free will donation maid-rite meal beginning at 5 PM followed by Bingo at 7 PM.
