Algona Pair Arrested in Connection with Clear Lake Theft Case

–A pair of Algona residents wanted on multiple theft charges out of Cerro Gordo County were taken into custody on Monday afternoon.

According to the Algona Police Department, Officers arrested 31-year-old Noarys Abreu Perera and 34-year-old Dansibel Delgado Horta just after 2 PM Monday.

Online court records show the Clear Lake Police Department filed multiple criminal complaints against the pair in August from incidents that allegedly occurred between May 18th-29th of this year.

Horta is facing one count of Ongoing Criminal Conduct, a Class B Felony, one count of forgery, a Class D Felony, and six counts of Unauthorized Use of a Credit Card under $1,500, an Aggravated Misdemeanor.

Abreu Perera is being charged with one count of Ongoing Criminal Conduct, a Class B Felony, and five counts of Unauthorized Use of a Credit Card under $1,500, an Aggravated Misdemeanor.

Both defendants were transported to the Cerro Gordo County Jail in Mason City to await an initial court appearance.
