–Many of the races in November’s city and school board elections will need a write-in candidate, and Kossuth County Auditor Tammy Eden has some tips to make sure your vote counts. Eden tells KLGA News that voters should do a little bit of research before heading to their polling place.
Eden says there is something you need to do before writing down the name of your preferred candidate.
If you forget how to correctly spell a candidate’s name, Eden says that shouldn’t be a problem.
Early voting is available now through November 3rd at the auditor’s office. If you requested an absentee ballot, those need to be in the auditor’s office by 8 PM on election day.
