Palo Alto County Teen Charged with Making Threats

–Law enforcement in Palo Alto County arrested a 17-year-old last week for allegedly making threats towards students and staff members at Graettinger High School.

According to the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office, Deputies were contacted around 4 PM on Monday, October 20^th after a student had allegedly made threats of terrorism towards students and staff members at the school. Deputies began an investigation and were able to arrest a 17-year-old juvenile just after 10 PM on Tuesday, October 21^st.

The juvenile was transported to the Palo Alto County Jail and cited for making Threats of Terrorism, a Class D Felony. After being booked, the juvenile was released to a parent.
