–An Algona man who is already facing fraud charges in Cerro Gordo County is now facing similar charges in Kossuth County and was taken into custody late last week.

According to the Kossuth County Sheriff’s Office, Deputies arrested 34-year-old Dansibel Delgado Horta last Friday on 2 counts of unauthorized use of a credit card-under $1500, an aggravated misdemeanor.

The charges stem from alleged incidents on May 18th. A criminal complaint field in Kossuth County District Court alleges Horta was observed attempting to use a bank card that did not belong to him in Algona on that date. The charges in Cerro Gordo County stem from incidents between May 18-30th when Horta and 31-year-old Norays Abreu Perrera allegedly used forged or stolen credit card information to make multiple purchases in the Clear Lake area.

Horta was booked into the Kossuth County Jail to await an initial court appearance. Last week, he entered a plea of not guilty to the charges in Cerro Gordo County and is scheduled to stand trial in January.
