–Law enforcement officials in Emmet County have identified the woman who died after she was found unresponsive near an Elementary School in Estherville last week.

The Estherville Police Department released additional information about the incident earlier today (Monday), identifying the woman as 18-year-old Bailey Anderson. Anderson was found to be unresponsive in the 200 block of south 17th Street just after 11 PM on November 10th. She was taken by ambulance to the Avera Holy Family Hospital where she was later pronounced dead.

Police say an autopsy conducted earlier today at the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Ankeny came back inconclusive as to a cause of death. Further tests are pending, meaning a final determination on a cause of death could take several days or weeks.

Officials say no further information will be released until the final autopsy report is completed.
