Wyoming Man Cited Following 2-Vehicle Crash Near Swea City

–A Wyoming man was cited and no injuries were reported following a 2-vehicle crash in northern Kossuth County last week.

According to the Kossuth County Sheriff’s Office, 20-year-old Jatterius Holland of Torrington, Wyoming was attempting to turn south on to County Road P30 near Swea City in a 2020 Chevy Silverado around 2:45 PM on Wednesday, November 12th.

As Holland entered the intersection with P30, he failed to notice a 2025 Kenworth Semi driven by 64-year-old Kurt Paulson of Walker, Minnesota heading south. The Silverado struck the trailer of the semi, ending up in the west ditch.

Damage to the Silverado was estimated at $10,000, while damage to the semi was estimated at $5,000. Neither driver reported any injuries, while Holland ended up being cited for Failure to Yield Upon Entering an Intersection.
