The girls high school swimming and diving season came to an end this past weekend, as Algona senior Reese Taylor and junior Ella Welp competed. Taylor wrapped up her Algona career by placing 9th in diving with a score of 392.05, while Welp advanced to the finals, placing 16th in the preliminaries of the 100 yard breaststroke in 1:10.25, then taking 16th in the finals in 1:10.51.
