–A West Bend company has earned recognition for the steps they take to accommodate their worker’s family life. The “Best Place for Working Parents” organization has named Country Maid as the winner of their “Innovator” award in 2025 for small businesses.
The “Innovator” award honors organizations that demonstrate an exceptional commitment to creating a family-friendly workplace through research-backed policies and practices.
Country Maid earned the distinction for offering a wide range of family-focused benefits, including paid parental leave, a “Ramp On/Ramp Off” program that supports transitions before and after maternity leave, along with a “Bundle of Joy” monetary bonus to help offset costs during a child’s first year. Additional offerings that stood out to the “Best Place for Working Parents” steering committee include flexible work arrangements, remote options, and paid time off for college visits.
Country Maid was selected from thousands of applicants in the small business category, while Bank of America was honored in the Medium-Large business category.
