–A West Bend couple are the proud parents of the first baby born in 2026 at Kossuth Regional Health Center in Algona.

According to the healthcare facility, Beau Johnson was delivered on Sunday, January 4th at Kossuth Regional by Dr. Mike Lampe. The infant is the son of Becca and Dustin Johnson of West Bend.

For being the first child born this year at KRHC, Beau will receive a gift basket with baby gifts and other essentials from the KRHC Auxiliary gift shop along with a handmade quilt that was donated by staff member Janet Perkins.

Each year, KRHC Physicians deliver around 130 babies while providing care and support to families across the region.  For more information about obstetrics services and educational opportunities, you can go online to www.krhc.com.
