–Officials with the West Bend company that was recognized last month for their family-friendly practices say they are beyond thrilled. The “Best Place for Working Parents” organization gave Country Maid their Innovator award in the Small Business category for 2025. Sara Blair is the Human Resources Director for Country Maid, and she tells KLGA News the company is honored to receive this designation.
Best Place for Working Parents selected Country Maid for offering a number of benefits aimed at making the lives of their workers more enjoyable.
Many of the benefits highlighted by Best Place for Working Parents centered around the birth of a child, but Blair says not every worker is at that phase of their life.
Country Maid was honored along with Bank of American, who won the award in the Medium-Large business category.
