–The Kossuth County Board of Supervisors got a look at the design plans for the grandstand renovation project at the Kossuth County Fairgrounds during their meeting on Tuesday. Reed Wessman with Atura Architecture is one of the architects working on the project, and he says the initial design plans revolved around keeping the main grandstand structure.
Wessman says they went through another level of design plans this fall and came to a new realization at that time.
Austin Piehl works in Business Development with Atura, and he says the plans for the grandstand have been developed for three different seating capacities.
Piehl says bids have been sent out for the concessions area of the project.
Officials with the Kossuth County Fair Board say they currently have received around $1.4 million in pledges for the grandstand renovation project.
