–A Fenton man is facing a pair of felony charges following an alleged incident earlier this week.

According to the Kossuth County Sheriff’s Office, Deputies received a call reporting a burglary along 3rd Street in Fenton just before 9:30 AM on Monday, April 6th. A criminal complaint filed in Kossuth County District Court states that the caller heard a suspicious noise in their garage shortly before calling law enforcement.

When the caller went to the garage to see what the noise may have been, they found 29-year-old Dylan John Lewis inside, taking items from the wall and putting them into a backpack. The complaint states that Lewis tried to say he had come over to ask a question and promptly left the garage.

He was located a short time later by Sheriff’s Deputies and arrested on charged of 2nd Degree Burglary, a Class C Felony, 2nd Degree Attempted Burglary, a Class D Felony, and 5th Degree Criminal Mischief, a Simple Misdemeanor.

Lewis was booked into the Kossuth County Jail to await an initial court appearance. He is scheduled to have a preliminary hearing on Friday, April 17th.
