–A Cylinder man is facing multiple charges of domestic assault following the report of a disturbance Sunday evening.
According to the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office, Deputies responded to the 200 Block of Jefferson Street in Cylinder around 5:45 PM Sunday. After investigating the incident, Deputies arrested 20-year-old Chase Lewis on two counts of Domestic Abuse Assault with Intent to Inflict Serious Injury, both Aggravated Misdemeanors, and one count of Domestic Abuse Assault-1st offense, a Simple Misdemeanor.
Lewis was booked into the Palo Alto County Jail to await an initial court appearance. Online records show he is scheduled to have a preliminary hearing on April 23rd.
Court records also show a no contact order has been issued to prevent Lewis from having any contact with the alleged victim in the case.
