–A fundraising effort to offer a completely free carnival at this year’s Kossuth County Fair close to reaching its goal. Fair officials announced in late April that they would be working with sponsors to try and cover the carnival’s costs for area residents. Morgan Wagner serves on the fair board, and she tells KLGA News they thought this might be a great way to bring more people to the fairgrounds.
In just over six weeks, Wagner says they have nearly raised all of the funds necessary to provide a free carnival.
Wagner says they are hoping that anyone interested in supporting the effort will contact them if they haven’t received a sponsorship packet already.
