–The economic development partnership between Kossuth and Palo Alto counties officially dissolved earlier this month after more than two decades. Tod Faris is the Executive Director of the newly branded Kossuth Area Economic Development Corporation, and he tells KLGA News that the head of the Palo Alto County Economic Development board reached out at the beginning of the year.
Faris says they put some thought into the new brand of Kossuth Area Economic Development.
With the change, Faris says his staff can be hyper-focused on Kossuth County while also assisting area agencies as needed.
The partnership officially ended on July 1st with the start of the organization’s new fiscal year.
