–An Emmet County man is facing multiple theft related charges following separate incidents in the Graettinger area last week.

According to the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office, Deputies initially investigated the report of stolen equipment from the Pro Cooperative location in Graettinger on Thursday, August 6th. Two days later, Deputies were notified that a trailer had been stolen from a residence in Graettinger.

A short time after the Saturday incident, Deputies located the trailer in the 4800 block of 280th Street, 5 miles east of Graettinger, and arrested 41-year-old Anton Bejarano from Ringsted.

Bejarano was charged with 3rd Degree Theft (Aggravated Misdemeanor), 5th Degree Criminal Mischief (Simple Misdemeanor), and Driving with a Suspended License (Simple Misdemeanor).

Authorities were then able to connect Bejarano to the Thursday incident and added additional charges of 3rd Degree Burglary (Class D Felony) and 4th Degree Theft (Serious Misdemeanor).

Bejarano was booked into the Palo Alto County Jail to await an initial court appearance.
