The leader of a company that stages events for Major League Baseball says the stadium in Dyersville that will host the “Field of Dreams” game Thursday fits perfectly in the landscape. Annemarie Roe is president of Baam Productions.
Roe’s company has been part of making the dream of a “Field of Dreams” experience come true.
Roe says it requires thousands of decisions, and she shares credit with the people of Dyersville.
Roe says the permanent plumbing at the stadium will likely be a fan favorite. There were portable toilets at the site for the Major League games in 2021 and 2022. Major League Baseball officials aren’t saying whether the “Field of Dreams” game will become a permanent part of the yearly schedule, but Roe suggests the pieces are present in Dyersville if that happens. The High School All-American Game will be played in Dyersville Wednesday.
