–Area non-profit organizations that plan to seek funding through the Kossuth County Community Foundation this fall are encouraged to attend one of the upcoming grant writing workshops this week. Shanda Hansen is the Director of Affiliate Impact for the Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa, and she tells KLGA News they are trying to reach as many area residents as possible with these workshops.
Hansen says the workshops will help clear up any questions an organization may have when it comes to receiving funding through the Kossuth County Community Foundation.
While the event will focus on funding through the Kossuth Foundation, Hansen says many of the tips they will provide can be applied to other funding sources.
You can find registration links for each of the workshops on the Kossuth County Community Foundation Facebook page. The deadline to apply for grant funding through the foundation is October 15th.
