–Kossuth County Conservation will host their annual Halloween Hike Saturday night at Smith Lake, a family friendly event that offers a unique nature theme each year. Naturalist Billie Willie tells KLGA News everything begins at 7 PM Saturday.
If you’ve never been to a Halloween Hike before, Willie says it’s a great way to get outdoors and learn a little bit about nature.
With a 7 PM start time, Willie says it will be plenty dark by the time things wrap up.
Saturday’s weather forecast calls for cooler temperatures than we had last weekend.
The event is completely free of charge and open to the public. If you have any questions, you can contact the Water’s Edge Nature Center by calling 515-295-2138.
