–An Algona man is the August recipient of the “1440 Citizen of the Month” award from the Kossuth County Sheriff’s Office.
According to Sheriff Roger Fisher, Chuck Redemske was nominated because of his “calm, confident and professional personality,” both as a nurse and as a trainer for those in the medical and first responder profession.
Throughout his career, Chuck spent countless hours caring for patients with a positive attitude, while also volunteering at his church and throughout the community over his entire life.
Fisher says that when he presented the award to Chuck, he was quick to point out his wife Linda was just as deserving of the award.
