–The Algona City Council looked at a preliminary draft of a new city ordinance that would regulate where food trucks can set up and operate within the city limits during a work session this week. City Administrator Jacob Tjaden says with more food trucks coming to town, the city wants to have something more definitive on the books.

Tjaden says they looked at what several similar sized cities in Iowa are doing with regards to this matter.

The council gave city staff direction as to what they would like to see left in and taken out of the preliminary draft, and will look at the matter once again during future meetings.
