Armstrong Pair Charged Following Late-Night Traffic Stop

–A traffic stop late last week in rural Emmet County resulted in multiple charges being filed against a pair of Armstrong men. 

According to the Emmet County Sheriff’s Office, a Deputy on patrol along HWY 9 near Gruver observed a traffic violation, and initiated a stop just after 10:15 PM this past Friday. After conducting a brief investigation, Deputies learned that the driver, identified as Logan Dickherber, was driving with a suspended license. Dickherber also had an outstanding warrant for his arrest in Palo Alto County. 

A further investigation of the scene led to the discovery of controlled substances, drug paraphernalia and synthetic urine. As a result, Dickherber was placed under arrest on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana) 1st Offense, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Synthetic Urine as well as the warrant out of Palo Alto County. 

Dickherber was booked into the Emmet County Jail to await an initial court appearance. A passenger in the vehicle, identified as 23-year-old Dillon Neusch, was cited and released for having an open container of alcohol on a public roadway.
