Corwith Man Charged Following Domestic Incident in Algona

–A Corwith man was taken into custody on Friday following a domestic disturbance in Algona.

According to the Kossuth County Sheriff’s Office, Deputies responded to a call for assistance Friday, just before 11:30 AM. Upon arrival, Deputies conducted a brief investigation and arrested 45-year-old Eric Allen Johnson on a charge of Domestic Abuse Assault, a Simple Misdemeanor.

Johnson was booked into the Kossuth County Jail to await an initial court appearance. Online court records show he is scheduled to have a non-jury trial on October 20^th in Kossuth County District Court.

A No Contact Order has also been issued to prevent Johnson from having any contact with the alleged victim in the case.
