–Kossuth Regional Health Center will add an Algona native to its roster of healthcare providers next month. KRHC announced this week that Dr. Allison Rausch will join the Family Medicine Clinic in early September and is already accepting new patients.

Dr. Rausch grew up in Algona before attending Franciscan University in Steubenville, Ohio and the University of Iowa’s Carver College of Medicine. She has been practicing at the Center for Family Medicine in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

When she begins her practice at KRHC, Dr. Rausch will provide a full spectrum of family care, everything from obstetrical care to geriatrics and everything in between.

Dr. Rausch and her husband Derek have three young children. Her addition brings the number of onsite healthcare providers at KRHC to 15, including 8 family physicians.
