–The founder of a Bitcoin Mining company that is expanding in Algona says they will be up and running soon. Adam Haynes is the Founder and CEO of Simple Mining, a vertically integrated Bitcoin Mining company based out of Cedar Falls, and he tells KLGA News the company started as an offshoot of one of his other business ventures.
Last month, it was announced that Simple Mining and Algona Municipal Utilities had entered a strategic partnership that would help bring a new data mining center to Algona. Haynes says they have been looking to expand in places where they can describe the situation as win, win, win.
Haynes says his company aims to keep expanding within the state of Iowa.
The Simple Mining facility in Algona will be located along North Ridgley Street and should be up and running later this week.
