–The AMU Board of Trustees recently approved the utility company’s budget for the coming year, which will include slight price increases. AMU General Manager John Bilsten tells KLGA News that they are expecting increased revenues next year.

AMU is still trying to determine how much they will need to increase rates for their television customers.

Dynamic TV customers should know how much rates will increase sometime in January. Bilsten says they are part of a negotiating group that aims to keep programming costs down.

Bilsten says AMU projects a revenue surplus of roughly $500,000 next year, that will be used to help pay for infrastructure improvements and maintain reserve funds.
