–The Algona City Council recognized former Chamber of Commerce Director Vicki Mallory during their meeting Monday evening. Mayor Rick Murphy read a proclamation honoring Mallory for her decades of service.
Mallory took a moment to address those in attendance at city hall.
Mallory served as director of the Algona Chamber of Commerce for some 32 years before retiring at the end of 2024.
