–An Algona man is facing a domestic assault charge following an alleged incident late last week.
According to the Kossuth County Sheriff’s Office, Deputies responded to a rural Algona residence following the report of a disturbance just before 9:30 AM on Thursday, March 19th. After conducting a brief investigation, Deputies arrested 44-year-old Cory Stephen Eisenlohr on a charge of Domestic Abuse Assault 1st offense, a simple misdemeanor.
A criminal complaint filed in Kossuth County District Court states that Eisenlohr was involved in an argument with the alleged victim inside the home they share. The complaint goes on to say that the argument escalated, with Eisenlohr putting hands on the victim in an attempt to remove them from the home.
Records show Eisenlohr is scheduled to have a non-jury trial on May 1st in Kossuth County District Court. They also indicate a no contact order has been issued to prevent Eisenlohr from having any contact with the alleged victim in the case.
