–Anyone who will become eligible for Medicare this year is invited to attend an upcoming meeting to learn more about what their benefits may look like. Marla Steier is a volunteer counselor with the Senior Health Insurance Information Program (SHIIP) at Kossuth Regional Health Center, and she will be leading the informational session on April 8th.
The meeting will cover a wide variety of Medicare related topics.
Steier says they hope anyone with questions about entering Medicare will attend the meeting.
The informational meeting will begin at 5:30 PM on Wednesday, April 8th inside the Tietz Entrepreneurial Center on the Algona campus of Iowa Lakes Community College. Preregistration is required by March 30th so they can obtain enough informational packets for each attendee.
