–Officials with the Algona Area Chamber of Commerce recently announced the themes for this summer’s Party in the Park events coming up in June, July, and August. Executive Director Avery Pedersen says they are looking forward to another summer of free family-friendly entertainment.
On July 8th, Pedersen says they will kick off the annual Founder’s Day celebration with a Red, White, and Rural theme.
The final Party in the Park will be held on August 12th, and Pedersen says they will focus on back-to-school time with a Fit and Fabulous theme.
Party in the Park events run from 6-8 PM and are located on the Carnegie Library lawn, at the corners of Dodge and Nebraska Street in downtown Algona.
