–Registrations are still beings accepted for the 2nd annual Kevin Cram Memorial Scholarship fundraiser that will be held on Saturday, September 12th. The event will feature a 5K Run/Walk, a 4-person best shot golf tournament, both a live and silent auction, and live entertainment to cap off the night. Lara Cram recently spoke with KLGA’s Al Lauck about the event, and she says everything will be in one place this year.
The proceeds go towards the scholarships that were handed out for the first time this spring to students pursuing a degree in an agriculture related field.
Cram says establishing the scholarship is a way to honor her late husband’s legacy while supporting local students at the same time.
The 5K will begin at 8AM and the golf tournament is scheduled for a 10:30 AM shotgun start. Bids will be taken on the silent auction items up until the live auction begins at 6 PM.
